I promised to write on a lot of things but things come up that I think are of more importance.

This is to let you know that Constable Mantler---the cop who kicked the suspect in the face and was caught on video is now off paid leave - but here’s the kicker - his fellow RCMP think that he is getting a raw deal. What’s with that ? This Constable has done this not once, not twice, but three times that we have found out about. I really feel that this guy needs a course in anger management! I’m damn glad that this guy has no more power - and I’ll go out on a limb and state that I hope he gets the full extent of JUSTICE he deserves.  I’ll go on record here and now that if his fellow officers feel he got a raw deal then we have an unbalanced state of mind within the Kelowna RCMP.

Have you noticed that a lot of drivers have become left hand lane hogs. There are signs posted everywhere you go that say SLOWER TRAFFIC KEEP RIGHT. I guess people can’t read! I don’t care whether your doing the speed limit or not look in those things called mirrors and see how many people your holding up! Do you have any idea what causes ROAD RAGE? It’s INTELLIGENT DRIVERS FOLLOWING STUPID PEOPLE. Todays driver’s are being taught real well. A couple of months ago  a driving instruction school in Vernon BC, by the name of ARRIVE ALIVE had run a crosswalk while two people were trying to cross. The other day, and yes I have the date and time, I was at a red light waiting to turn left. My light turned green and if I had gone I would have hit the Arrive Alive car---it had run a red light.

The next day in another location I was exiting a parking lot when an Arrive Alive car stopped in an intersection for no apparent reason causing the car behind to come to an abrupt halt and the car on the other side of the intersection and myself were extremely puzzled as there was no one ahead of this driver and the light was green…There was absolutely no reason for her to stop. I do think that their name is appropriate but it involves other drivers like you and me arriving alive if this is how they teach their students!!! I do think that the government body who controls driver training should look into this school.

Now here’s the best case scenario of Stupid Driving On August 6thbetween 4 and 5 pm on the so called freeway between the Vedder Canal and Abbotsford my wife and I followed a ghost car. It was one of those left lane Hogs. This car wouldn’t have known the speed limit –if it fell on it. I tried numerous times to pass on the right side but it always sped up. Before they turned off the female officer on passengers side radioed in only to find that the car behind her was rented. Just prior to exiting into Abbotsford they pumped their brakes for me to back off but I stayed at the safe distance I had been following at the whole time …They then abruptly signaled, cut the car off travelling in the right lane and continued up the off ramp. How many mistakes did this ghoster make---I’ll let you decide---but I will say they should send the driver back for basic training….but knowing the track record of the Abbotsford RCMP-----this would be just another situation to sweep under the rug…Police today have way to much power and it has become a real sign of arrogance!!!

 Lets go to the Kelowna Casino August 14, 2011. In broad daylight there was a shoot out between rival gangs. To my knowledge an innocent person was seriously hurt in the incident which I find very offensive. These gangs are living proof that PUNKS with no intelligence and believe in Cult mentality are still amongst us.  There is GOOD NEWS in this situation. One punk  Jonathon Bacon of Abbotsford died in this shooting. Why, you ask, is this good news? The answer being that for taxpayers we save aprox. $300,000 a  year to house this jerk in jail. I think that his parents should be held accountable for any injuries suffered by innocent persons! The parents should have to sell everything they own to cover any expenses incurred by innocent people.

The reason for these Gang Wars are Drugs and so called turf ownership. Lets inform these Punks that they own nothing and if they didn’t Bully---they would be NOTHING. I have been saying for years to have drugs legalized in a controlled environment. Those people who do drugs are going to continue using legally or illegally. The reason for all this Chaos is  that the thrill of getting caught or getting away with it is what brings about the rush. It’s no different than Alcohol---we still have alcoholics---but now it’s legal and the government makes money through taxes DUI’s etc. etc. How much money do we as taxpayers spend on all these task forces who follow people around for two or three days---weeks  only to come up short or make a small bust,,,,,we watch shows all the time where this is fact----How much money do you want to keep  spending on STUPIDITY…

Here’s another STUPID-----How many cop cars do you need to stop one car in a high speed chase? Answer is NONE. There  should be no High speed chases---not when it endangers innocent people. If you agree with car chases---do you really need 5 0r 10 cars to chase one car down. This is the grand case of Stupid.

A high speed chase only creates more hazard by forcing a fleeing motorist to continue at ever higher speeds and almost always ends with an injury or fatality and lots of property damage to people who are innocent victims of what I feel is a reckless act.

What do you think? In these times when we have sophisticated communication, road spikes and other means of stopping people, are high speed chases really necesssary?
